Method To Fix If Your Window License Will Expire Soon:

1. Restart Windows Explorer Process:

End and Restart the Process:

For this, you should press Ctrl+ Alt + Del key altogether and then choose Task Manager. Now in Task Manager, you should go to the Processes tab. At this point, you need to find Windows Explorer and then right-tap on it and then select End task. Then, you need to tap on File option and then select Run new task. After this, you should type explorer.exe and then tap on Enter or OK button. Now, your Windows UI will be appeared on your screen.

Run Command from Command Prompt:

The customer should hit on the Start button and then type cmd. After this, you should choose Run as administrator in order to start Command Prompt with full privileges. Then in the Command Prompt window, you should type the command by pressing Enter key:

slmgr –rearm

At the end, Reboot your device and run this command:

slmgr /upk

2. Change your Group Policy:

First of all, you need to press Windows key + R together and then input gpedit.msc and then hit on Enter or OK button. Now in the left side, you should visit to the policy:

Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update

Then in the right side, you should double tap on No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic updates installations. At the end, you need to choose Enabled option and hit on Apply and OK button to save the changes.

3. Disable Problematic Services:

You should press Windows key + R at the same time and then write services.msc and then tap Enter or OK option. If the Services window opens up on your screen, then just locate Windows License Manager Service and then double hit on it in order to open the properties. If the Properties window opens, then you should set the Startup type to Disabled. Here, you need to hit Apply and OK option to save changes. At this point, you should find Windows Update service and then double tap on it in order to open the properties. After this, you should Stop the service and then set its Startup type to Disabled. At the end, tap on the Apply and OK options.

4. Create Backup for the Registry and Modify it:

For this, you need to press Windows key + R altogether and then write regedit and then tap on Enter or OK button. If you want to modify your registry, then you should export it. For this, you should tap on File option and then choose Export. Now, you need to choose All in Export range and then input the file name. At the end, you need to select a safe location and then tap on Save option. 

Modify the Registry:

The customer should choose the Start button and then type cmd. After this, you should hit on Run as administrator in order to start Command Prompt with administrative privileges. If Command Prompt begins, then you should enter the command and then tap on Enter key to run it:
