1. Create New Profile:

You should first open Firefox and then just type about:profiles in the search bar. It will open the Profile Manager in your screen. Now, you should tap on Create a New Profile in order to start the Wizard. At the end, you should choose a name for your profile and then tap on Finish option.

2. Disable Hardware Acceleration from Firefox:

The user should tap on the Menu icon from the top-right side in Firefox and then choose Settings option. Now, you should hit on the General tab from the left side of the screen and just scroll down to the right side till you visit to the Performance section. Here, you should uncheck the checkboxes of Use recommended performance settings and Use hardware acceleration when available. At the end, you need to close Firefox and again open it to check the issue if Firefox is still freezing.

3. Create New Database for Firefox:

To create database, you should hit on the Firefox Menu icon from the top-right side of the screen and then choose the Help option. Now, you should select More troubleshooting information. At this point, you should tap on Open Folder from Application Basics. Here, you need to close Firefox. After this, you should visit to the Firefox folder which opens up on your screen. Next, you need to find and rename the file places.sqlite to places.sqlite.old and also places.sqlite-journal to places.sqlite-journal.old. At last, you should start Firefox and then check if it works properly or not.

4. Remove Session Restore files:

To remove, you should tap on the browser Menu icon and then choose the Help option. After this, you should hit on More troubleshooting information from the list. Next, you need to tap on Open Folder from the Application Basics section. Here, you have to close the browser. Then from your Profile folder, you should delete the sessionstore.js file and also the linked files such as sessionstore-1.js etc. If in case, the Restore Session option is not activated in Firefox, then you will not find these types of files. At last, again you should Start the browser to check if issue is fixed or not.

5. Reset the Browser:

From Firefox, first the user needs to tap on the Menu icon and then choose Help option. Now, you should select More troubleshooting information. Here, you need to find and choose the Refresh Firefox option. At last, you should continue the reset process and then again open the web browser.
