How you can fix Microsoft Error code 216-13?

Fix Microsoft Error Code 216-13:

  • Repair your Office app:

Go to start option and then open the Control Panel option. Just click on Programs and then select Programs and Features. After this, just click on the Office which you want to repair. Then you have to click on Change option. Now select Quick Repair and then you have to click on Repair.

  • Steps to remove Office:

For this first you have to Open Control Panel by using Start option. Then just hit on Programs options and then you have to select Programs and Features. Select Office Suite and at last click on Remove.

  • Step 1: Remove the Windows Installer packages

 Find the Office 16 installation folder, and located in C:\Program Files\. After this, right-click on the Microsoft Office 16 folder and then just select Delete.

  • Step 2: Remove the Office scheduled tasks

First, just open a Command Prompt window as an administrator. In command prompt window, type the following commands and hit Enter after each command:

schtasks.exe /delete /tn “\Microsoft\Office\Office Automatic Updates”

schtasks.exe /delete /tn “\Microsoft\Office\Office Subscription Maintenance”

schtasks.exe /delete /tn “\Microsoft\Office\Office ClickToRun Service Monitor”

  • Step 3: Use Task Manager:

First you have to open Task Manager and then just click the Process tab. If the processes are running, then just right-click each one and then click End task after each process.

  • Step 4: Delete the Office files

First you have to press Windows logo key + R just to open the Run dialog box. Now in the Open box, just type %ProgramFiles%, and then you have to click on OK button. Just delete the “Microsoft Office” folder. Now just, type %ProgramFiles(x86)% in the run dialog box and then you have to click OK button. At last just Delete the “Microsoft Office” folder. this blog

  • Step 5: Delete the Office registry sub keys

First open Registry Editor and then delete the following registry subkeys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\AppVISV

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office

Then you have to Delete the Office key.

  • Step 6: Delete the Start menu shortcuts

First you have to Open a Command Prompt window as an administrator. Then you have to type the following command

Type %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs, and then hit the Enter key. Now delete the “Microsoft Office 2016 Tools” folder.

  • Download and install Office

First you have to Sign in to your My Account page by using the link https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=613327 and then you have to choose Install option. Now just click on Run option. At last just click All done. This will fix the error.
