Clear Formatting By Using Clear All Formatting:

For this, first you have to select the text from which you want to remove formatting in Word. For this, you have to select the text from you want to remove formatting in Word document. Now just use your mouse to highlight the text, or you can select all of the text in the document, you can also select anywhere inside the document, and then you have to press Ctrl+A to highlight all the text. Clear Formatting in Word using Notepad:

For this first you have to open the document from which you want to clear formatting. Then you have to type “notepad” into the Windows Search box and then just press Enter key. Now, a new Notepad file will open. After this, just return to the Word document. Now just select the text from which you want to remove formatting in Word. You can use your mouse to highlight the text, or, you can select all of the text in the document, you can also select anywhere inside the document, and then you can press Ctrl+A to highlight the text. After this, you have to press Ctrl+C to copy the highlighted text. Now just go back to the Notepad file. You can select anywhere inside the window and then you have to press Ctrl+V to paste the text which is copied from the Word. Now you have to use the mouse to select the text in the Notepad file. After this, you have to press Ctrl+C or you can select Edit > Copy to copy the text. Now you have to paste it back in Word.
