How To Troubleshot If Microsoft Store is Blocked?

Method To Troubleshoot If Microsoft Store is Blocked:

1. Open Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter:

For this, first you have to type troubleshoot in Windows search and then choose Troubleshoot settings from the results. After this, you need to tap on Additional troubleshooters from the right side of the computer. Now, you have to select Windows Store Apps just to click on Run the troubleshooter button. Here, the users should go through a resolution which is there in the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter. At the end, you should follow the additional steps in order to complete the troubleshooter process.

2. Clear Microsoft Store’s Cache:

First, you have to press the Windows key + R altogether just to begin the Run app. Now, you need to type wsreset.exe and then hit on Enter key or tap on OK button. At the end, the reset will take a few minutes and then you will view the Store will open again.

3. Enable Microsoft Store from Group Policy Editor:

You have to press Windows + R simultaneously, and then type gpedit.msc and tap on OK button or press Enter key. After this, you should go to the following path on its left sidebar:

Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Store

Then in the right side of the screen, you should locate the Turn off the Store application policy. Now, you need to right-click on it and then select Edit option. If you find the setting is Enabled, then you should modify its feature to Not Configured or Disabled, and then press Apply and OK buttons. At the end, you need to Restart the computer so that the changes to take effect and then again open the Store app. office.com/myaccount

4. Reset Microsoft Store App:

For this, you need to click on the Windows key + I together just to start the Settings app. After this, you should hit on Apps. Now, you need to locate the Microsoft Store app, and then click on it. After this, you should select Advanced options. Then, you have to just scroll down and then tap on the Reset button.  But you should remember that this will remove all the app’s data, preference and also the sign-in details.

5. Use Different User Account:

You need to press the Start button and then tap on the Settings option. After this, you should select Accounts and then tap on Family & other users. Now, you should choose Add someone else to this PC option. At this point, you should tap on I don’t have this person’s sign-in information and then tap on Add a user without a Microsoft account option. Here, you should enter the required account details in the text boxes and then tap on Next button. When you setup the new account, then you should Restart Windows. At the end, you should log in to the new user account.
